Hi everyone,

I’m writing this for my good friend Simon Arsenault, who is currently facing terminal brain cancer at only 33 years old. Saying that out loud still doesn’t feel real.

Simon is a good friend, a devoted partner, and an incredible dad, and watching him and his family go through this has been heartbreaking.

Right now, Simon’s focus — and his family’s — is on making the most of the time they have left together. Creating memories, sharing laughs, holding onto normal moments, and being present with one another means everything. Unfortunately, alongside the emotional weight of this journey comes an overwhelming financial burden.

Simon has been unable to work, while still facing mounting medical costs, frequent travel to appointments, and everyday expenses that don’t pause for circumstances like this. These added stresses are the last thing that Simon & his family should have to worry about during such a difficult time.

This GoFundMe was created to help ease that financial pressure — to support medical-related expenses, travel costs, and to give Simon and his family the chance to truly spend their remaining time together without constant worry about finances. We want Simon to be able to enjoy whatever time he has left, spend it with his family and maybe check a few things off of his bucket list.
