Healing ShayaRain

Everyone knows Shayarain as a happy healthy baby boy! He gives almost anyone the biggest smile. Although he is still his happy charming self, he has spent the past week in and out of the hospital at UNM Carrie Tingley experiencing unexplained seizures. At just 10 months old he has had over 10 seizures in one week. The amazing team and staff at UNM have been running every test in hope of finding some kind of explanation. At the moment there’s no definite answer to why the seizures have started. They are trying to figure out the right dosage of medication to stop the seizures.

Meanwhile Sara has been by his side. She fears that this may be the beginning of a long road ahead of them. Nonetheless Sara has already had to take a week off of work and the future is unknown regarding the length of this illness.  Sara is a single mom, a full time hairdresser, and a salon owner. Although this industry offers us so many benefits as mothers, it also doesn’t come with paid time off or sickleave. I am creating this GoFundMe to help Sara with some financial cushion to take the time she needs and seek the treatment needed to help her baby boy.  When our children are sick, it trumps all other issues... if you can please help it would be most appreciated.  Thank you.
