On June 13, 2025 we lost a beautiful woman and mother to a battle that so often overlooked. Elizabeth Forthun was a dedicated mother to two wonderful boys Damian (27) and Shawn (13) . Grandmother to Grayson (7) . Also loving partner to Paul. Elizabeth was full of life and a shining ray of sun to anyone who was able to meet her, even for a moment. Even though there was dark clouds covering her sunshine on occasion, many friends and family allied around as she sought help for many years.

Elizabeth was always willing to help anyone in need, she helped take care of her last surviving parent Helen and provided companionship and aid whenever needed. All she wanted was her family to smile and not hurt in the way that some do. Elizabeth was so selfless she was always willing to go above and beyond for her family including for her niece, nephew, and also great-niece who she helped with the upbringing of and making wonderful memories so special. Elizabeth struggled, as many persons do with a mental health for years that was overlooked, by all medical personnel, and was let down by the healthcare system when all she wanted was help.

Damian and Shawn have a long road ahead of them navigating this world abruptly losing their mother and lifeline that helped with so many things in the day to day life for both boys. As Shawn struggled with disabilities that his mother would take care of him effortlessly and conscientiously. We are reaching out to the public as in a help to keep the boys comfortable in this trying and difficult time. Damian now the provider and caretaker for his younger brother Shawn, as well as his own son.

Damian will have to suddenly have to take on a large finical burden with living expense as well as burial expenses. That no one is ever financially prepared for. We are asking for help providing a life for Shawn as he grows to hopefully be able to have a savings account for medical, surgeries and living expense as that Shawn will have to endure throughout his lifetime for his partial blindness.
