Hi My name is Sandra Dunn and for more than 30 years,I've had the privilege of calling Sharon my friend. If you've had the pleasure of knowing Sharon,you'll understand why so many people care about her. She is one of the kindest, most generous people you'll ever meet- Someone who has quietly shown up for others, often without asking for anything in return.

For decades,Sharon has been a driving force in Nanaimo live music and community events scene. She has devoted countess hours of supporting local musicians,performers,charities,festivals and community organizations. Her generosity and hard work have touched so many people through events and fundraisers such as Michael Patrick's Annual Christmas benefit for NACL , Party in the Park,Bathtub Weekend Loyal Nanaimo Bathtub Society,The Vancouver Island Exhibition VIEX, Sunfest,Nanaimo Blues Society, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 256 Rememberance Day events, Heritage Days and many more. She also has been a dedicated supporter of live music at the Queens and throughout the Nanaimo area.

Sharon has spent years helping bring the people together strengthening our community and supporting causes that matter. Now ,its our turn to support her. Sharon is currently facing a recurrence of Cancer and is waiting for surgery. Along with the emotional and physical challenges that come with another cancer diagnosis, she is also dealing with on going health issues that have made daily life increasingly difficult. This journey has brought uncertainty, countless medical appointments and the need to focus here energy on healing ✨️

As many of you know, Sharon is an incredibly private and independent person. She has given me permission to share this information so those who care about her can better understand what she is facing and why support is needed at this time.

While Sharon concentrates on her health and recovery, the financial burdens of everyday living and medical- related expenses continue to grow. Our hope is not only to surround her with Love, and encouragement, and support,but also to help ease some of the financial stress so she can focus on what matters most- HEALING
