Friends, family and aquaintances: this is Cortney Allen letting you know about this awesome opportunity to pass-on well-wishes, prayers, support, and love to my cousin, who some know as Selina (White, Scott or Ivy).
She is beginning the fight that (all too many) women (young and old) have, unfortunately, had to deal with [breast cancer]. The battle itself (I can only imagine) requires a strength that only a mother can muster, so my intent is to alleviate the worry of bills (medical and otherwise), feeding her family, etc., so that she may focus on healing.
She is strong (even now) and very independent, so she would not want pity, however, I know she would be strengthened by our compassion and encouragement. Please do what you are able. Thank you.
