Rufty's in a Ruff Patch

Dear friends,

The hilariously funny, outrageously handsome Rufty to his friends, we all know and love, is going through a rough patch following  diagnosis of a brain stem tumour following a stroke mid last year.Unfortunately , surgery to remove the tumour is extremely high risk due to its location.  
Following radiotherapy and surgery the physical side effects have progressively been getting worse to the point now where his mobility, speech and vision have seriously impacted his quality of life.Whilst his future prognosis is unclear, currently  Sean's treatment is a drug called Avastin, which is extremely costly to administer and not covered under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.He has already received treatments of this drug and it is possible he may require more leaving the family unsure of the financial requirement in the future .
Due to his condition he is also suffering severe depression and anxiety about his future and the welfare of his young family.


Circumstances like this cause unimaginable stress and strain on a young man and his family. So please rally around Rufty, his wife Rina and son Kai. They need as much help and support as we can give them.
