Supporting Scott & Skye following the stillbirth of Penelope

On Sunday 1st December 2024 at 40 weeks gestation, Penelope Betty Corbett was born sleeping.

Baby Penelope's passing was completely unexpected.

As you would imagine, Penelope's parents Skye and Scott and her big sister Delilah ( 4 years old ) are absolutely heartbroken and devastated.

To try to help our brother Scott and sister-in-law Skye during this unimaginable time, Melissa and I have created this GoFundMe page.

Unfortunately Skye has developed complications following her caesarean section and has remained in Manning Base Hospital since Penelope's birth.

Skye now needs to be transferred to John Hunter Hospital ( 2 hours away from their home in Old Bar NSW ) for more specialised treatment.

Our family never imagined experiencing pain like this. We all eagerly awaited Penelope's birth for 40 weeks, only to have this excitement ripped away and our hearts shattered.

All funds raised will go directly to helping Scott and Skye to assist with the unexpected costs involved during this heartbreaking time.

Initially, our aim is to help to provide accommodation for Scott and Delilah so they can be close to Skye whilst she is admitted at John Hunter Hospital.

Any other funds remaining will be used to help their family with the unforseen costs for Penelope's funeral, as well as allowing them time to heal together as a family unit without the added stress of financial pressures.
