Supporting Sara’s Battle With Cancer
In March of 2020, Sara Jaquish was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (on top of non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver, hemochromatosis, and congestive heart failure). More than a patient name on a chart, she is a wife...a mother...and a grandmother to eight adoring grandchildren. After suffering side effects on her first chemotherapy, she is now experiencing debilitating side effects on her new chemo. These side effects have required hospital stays and frequent visits to her care team in multiple counties. Her loving husband, Mike Jaquish, continues to rise before the sun to make a 45 minute commute in order to provide all that he can for his wife. Because he is not able to be by her side during his work day and the family is trying to limit her exposure to Covid-19, my siblings and I would like to invite you to stand with us as Sara’s supporters. The ability to get food that she can tolerate as needed and covering medical expenses would bring an immense peace of mind to this most-deserving couple. They are both known for their giving hearts and would never ask for this help themselves...but we all know there is a time to give and a time to receive. We are fortunate to live in a time where donations can be made in lieu of in-person drop-offs or other exposure risks. Our prayer is that we can shower them with peace during this difficult time.
With all of our gratitude,
Darrell Franklin, Holly Husketh, & Amber Bradner
