Sarah was diagnosed in college with Ulcerative Colitis and Chrons' Disease. This autoimmune disease has caused much grief and pain for Sarah particularly over the last several months.

After a short hospital visit in May of 2020, Sarah struggled greatly with getting on the right medications and getting the medical support she needed. Sarah found herself in the hospital on September 8, 2020, with severe intestinal strictures. On September 9, 2020, she underwent an extensive surgery to remove her colon. During this surgery it was discovered that Sarah has Stage 4 Colon Cancer.
