Hey, my name is Zayden and I’m at school at Northwest Community College for nursing. Anyways, less about me.

I started this GoFundMe to try to help one of my good friend’s wife as much as I can. Through all of the pain she’s going through, the least I can do is relieve some of her financial stress during this really hard time.

My buddy’s name who passed away is Dalton Buford. Dalton was one of a kind. He was the kind of guy that if you were having a bad day, he would give you his all just to try and make you crack a smile. He was always a no-BS kind of person. If you came up to him and asked him for advice, he wouldn’t sugarcoat anything. If you were wrong, trust me, he would tell you.

He’s the biggest history buff I know and he loved teaching others. I truly am sad that the world lost such an amazing person at just the beginning of his life. He just recently turned 21 in January and graduated a year ago.

He met his wife at Northwest. They met in the fall of 2023 at Northwest and were best friends until he finally asked her out in March of 2024. They were inseparable. Every time I saw Dalton, it never failed that I saw Sarah with him. They got engaged on September 29th that same year. The next year on September 29th, they got married. They loved each other with everything they had in them and they were glowing.

Shortly after getting married, they moved in together to start their brand new life. Dalton was working full time just about every day just to stay afloat. Until the world lost such a bright soul on April 8th of 2026. He passed away from complications of his epilepsy.
