Sara and her family are facing one of the most challenging moments of their lives. As many of you know, in January 2019, Sara was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer with liver metastasis. From the very beginning, she made a promise to cherish every possible moment with her loved ones. Given a prognosis of only 2–5 years, Sara defied the odds and created more precious time than anyone imagined.

Through years of hope and heartbreak, enduring chemotherapy, surgeries, immunotherapy, and clinical trials, Sara has shown incredible courage and resilience. Now, after exhausting every option, she is entering hospice care.

Sara has always been a ray of sunshine, lighting up every room she enters. Anyone who knows her can attest to her infectious laughter and comforting smile. She is the unwavering rock of her family and heart of her home, bringing joy to her children Ethan and Alana and her husband Felix. The strength and love that binds this family is truly inspiring, and these many difficult years have only deepened that bond.

This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting them during hospice and after Sara has transitioned.

The cost of home care is currently being shouldered by her family and friends, some flying across the country and others flying in from overseas. The emotional toll on her family is immense.
