Samuel and Maile should have been married a year ago, but due to visa delays, they had to wait until this past week - just in time for the first major winter weather to hit Utah.

They were happily off on their honeymoon to California when the storm hit. Their car hit some ice near Mona, Utah, slid off the road, and rolled. They made it out with minimal injuries, but the car was totaled.

Because they saved up and paid cash for the car, they weren't required to get insurance to cover their own vehicle. So the car itself is not covered by insurance and is a total loss.
