This past weekend, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. Samantha Moore, just 19 years old, was tragically taken from us in a car accident.

Samantha was a 2025 graduate of Ankeny High School and was continuing her education at DMACC, building a bright future filled with purpose, kindness, and faith. She was deeply rooted in her love for God and was actively involved at Prairie Ridge Church in Ankeny, where her joyful spirit touched so many lives.

To know Samantha was to know warmth, compassion, and genuine love. She treasured her family above everything else, and the bond they shared was incredibly close. She had a heart for serving others and found joy in the simple things—especially baking for the people she loved. Whether it was a homemade treat, a thoughtful conversation, or her contagious smile, Samantha had a beautiful way of making people feel cared for.

Samantha also adored children and spent time working with students at Southeast Elementary in Ankeny through the before and after school program. The kids she worked with loved her deeply, and she brought encouragement and kindness everywhere she went.

Even in the hardest moments, so many remember Samantha’s constant smile, her servant’s heart, and the unwavering faith she carried each day.
