Our friend and comrade Salma Mirza is currently in the hospital. Their birthday is September 7th. Salma is a leader and organizer who has made tremendous contributions to the labor movement in the US and internationally, to campaigns to challenge corporate power, and to building community and faith-based organizing. So many of us have learned from Salma as we have organized together. This is a moment when they need the support and solidarity of our community as they fight to get their basic needs met under this capitalist, white-supremacist, patriarchal, ableist system. Let's show up for Salma like Salma has shown up for us.
