Hi! For those that don't know me , my name is Sage and i'm 28 years old. i've been suffering with severe alcohol addiction for 10+ years now and it's why killed my father a few years ago. In 2024, it got to the point i was drinking a gallon of cheap liquor everyday. By 26 years old, i had kidney failure, my liver was failing, and i was dying. I went into inpatient rehab twice in 2024, spent 4th of july, christmas, and thanksgiving there. only to relapse after both times.

I moved across the country almost a year ago today, and was maintaining steady sobriety for awhile. I relapsed last fall, then again months later. These last two months i have been steadily relapsing. Drinking day and night, many days. My household environment was a huge factor. I've been in and out of the hospitals again, and i'm terrified of what could happen if i continue.

So, i left the toxic house and decided to go back to rehab, but here in montana. I'll be residing at Recovery Centers of Montana Women's Lodge. It's absolutely beautiful and i'm excited to go.

I will be out of work for 32 days, on top of the week i currently am missing and the days i missed in the hospital. Only being there two months, i'm lucky that i'm even approved loa. However, i'm creating this to leave up while i am away in hopes to have a small cushion to come back to.

Stability is so important in recovery, and being able to live again once you're out of treatment is so necessary. I'm so grateful for everything i have. Thank you everyone who's supported so far.
