Hi All! I decided to create this Go Fund Me to help support my Sister Sage and Brother in Law Greg, on their IVF Journey. They are starting another round of IVF after being unsuccessful last spring, and as you might know, the costs add up quickly.

Unfortunately, there is only one fertility clinic in Atlantic Canada in Halifax (4.5 hours from home) so involves travel for each appointment- which often involves overnight stays. With the cost of gas and Hotels in Halifax upwards of $200 a night- this adds up quickly.

Last year they exhausted all medical plan benefits available, and unfortunately they only apply the first time. The IVF procedure itself costs approximately $11,000- plus the storage costs, testing and the medication involved costed upward of $3000 in addition to that- but that was WITH coverage. Now that this is a second round, they will do additional testing to try to ensure a better result- which again adds additional cost.

On a personal note, they are the most loveable, kind couple and will make the most wonderful parents. I get the privilege of watching them with my son and can’t wait until we get to see them be the parents they are destined to be. They are quick to help

others, support the community and family and friends.
