Supporting Sabina and her future

Donation protected
Update December 2023: A nodule was detected in Sabina's left lung. She had surgery at Seattle Children's Hospital to remove it. The bad news is, it was in fact an Osteosarcoma. The good news is, it was only one nodule and the removal was successful - clear margins. She is currently NED (no evidence of disease) but the alarm bell has sounded. She is now is surveillance mode and we are exploring additional treatment options in case they become necessary. Some of these options include clinical trials, expensive medicines and other interventions that may require travel and expenses. Her doctors tell us that in addition to her medical care, the people in Sabina life: her family, friends and even kind strangers - will help give her the best chance at a healthy outcome. We greatly appreciate all of your continued support and collective hope.
Thank you so very much.
The McMahons

November 2021: If you're stopping by this page, it's because you want to help the most incredible kid I know. When Sabina McMahon was about six months old - chubs and smiles for days - Kate and Sean asked me to be her godmother. It was and still is one of the most important roles of my life. I've had a unique perspective on her journey to becoming the remarkable young lady she is. Sabina is the most thoughtful, expressive, fun-loving, and compassionate girl you could ever meet. She is bound for big things, and this world needs her. As you may already know, Sabina has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma - bone cancer. After a couple months of pain in her right leg, doctors discovered a cancerous lesion on her femur. Sabina has already started chemo therapy, which will be followed by surgery, and then more chemo. Sabina and her family are not only facing a tough year ahead with medical expenses, time away from work and lost income, Sabina may also need specialized care down the road. This is where you come in. If you are able, please consider making a contribution to this fund to help Sabina and her family during this challenging time. Anything you can give is appreciated beyond words. Thank you for your support of this incredible family and my favorite girl.
