Supporting Ruth with her recovery.

Friends and family, never in our lives did we think we’d be setting up this GoFundMe for my sister, Ruth, wife and mother of three. Let me preface this by saying she is the most wonderful human being. Very sweet, kind-hearted, soft-spoken and a very devoted mother and wife. She is the best sister in the world and I am who I am because of her. -Juliet (sister)

Unexpectedly, last Wednesday Ruth thought she went into labor but it took a horrific turn and ended with her fighting for her life.

We are so appreciate of the thousands of prayers she and our family have received in this past week and it means so much more than you’ll ever know.

Ruth is currently in the ICU on life support and in critical condition where she has received multiple surgeries and transfusions for the bleeding, dialysis for her kidneys, antibiotics for signs of infection as well as many other treatments. The doctors and nurses are wonderfully caring for her around the clock.

God has blessed Ruth with so many miracles so far and we would like to thank everyone for your continued prayers and support during this time.

Our Family was able to visit with her daily. She is more alert/aware of our presence and when we talk to her now. But, everyday is still a battle for her and a big change in routine for her husband and children without their mama around daily, right now.

Respectfully, we cannot detail all of her medical improvements, but this will still be a long road for the Ly family as she continues to fight for her life and we pray that she can start breathing on her own again very soon.

As life does not just stop happening, we hope to help this sweet family with accruing medical costs and monthly bills for now and through the months of recovery/therapy time needed. It will let her husband be able to be with her more and help take care of the family while she gets better (God willing a speedy recovery).
