As many of you know my father suffered a stroke and a few seizures on June 3rd and during his time at the hospital, he had a few more strokes. My dad unfortunately has a blood clot that is breaking up which is causing the strokes to continue. The doctors have done everything they can, and unfortunately a surgery to remove the clot is too risky. As a family we made the heart wrenching decision to bring him home to be as comfortable as he can with his friends and family. My mom has now become his sole caretaker and is on duty 24/7 with the exception of some help from nurses a few hours a week. Luckily my mom works for the school district and has the summer off. However when school starts again, we are not sure what is going to happen, especially since my dad is no longer able to work. Both of my parents are incredibly strong people and I pray everyday that we will all get through this. Many people have asked us to start a go fund me to help my parents and take a bit of stress off of them. We truly appreciate the support more than words could ever express.
