God is Good!!!
I have created this page on behalf of my dear close friend and brother In Christ, Pastor Ron Allen. This donor page is to help support Pastor Ron Allen, who is facing some serious health challenges, and his family.
If you are just learning of this, we are sorry to share this news, and in this way. Even though his health hasn’t been a secret, social media has been avoided because Ron has not wanted people to worry about him. If you know him, that won’t surprise you.
You may know Ron just a little, or you may know him well. Whatever the extent of your relationship, you know his motto is, “God is Good!”
In May 2022, Pastor Ron Allen went to out-patient surgery expecting to have a routine colonoscopy. But, there was nothing normal about how that visit ended. Ron was informed he had liver cancer, also known as Hepatocellular Carcinoma. The news did not deter Ron because “God is good” and his trust is in Jesus. Ron followed the doctor’s orders. He and his wife, Tonya, turned it over to God as Ron continued to operate in his calling.
In June, Ron began experiencing excruciating pain in his back. He went to his physician voicing this concern. After having several test conducted, Ron was given the news that the cancer had spread and it is terminal.
Due to the seriousness of Ron’s illness, he is no longer able to work. Also, his loving wife, Tonya, has suspended her work to become his primary caregiver and medical advocate.
I ask that you continue to keep Ron and his family in prayer. Also, please consider donating toward his treatment and ongoing living and medical expenses.
Before his illness, Ron was Pastoring with the Church of the Nazarene. Prior to accepting his call to Pastor, Ron was a faithful member and Elder at New Life Celebration Church of God in Dolton IL. New Life Celebration, and the entire region, were blessed by his and his wife’s beautiful music ministry.
Updates about Pastor Ron will be provided here for those who are interested. For now, we just want to get this information up and running, quickly and simply.
Thank you on behalf of the Allen family. May God richly bless you for your unselfish acts of giving.
