One of our colleagues, Ron Singell, has suffered an unimaginable loss this holiday season.
His daughter, Heather Singell, was out for a walk as part of her recovery from an ACL repair when she started having trouble breathing. The person she was with called 911 and Heather was transported to the hospital, but she went into cardiac arrest on the way. Paramedics began resuscitation efforts which continued after her arrival at the hospital, but they were unable to revive her.
Heather was only 33 years old and worked as an RN in the NICU at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Funds will go towards Heather's family to assist in paying for final expense and travel costs.
