Supporting Baby Robin Sol

Hello Everyone!

To begin our story, our sweet boy Robin Sol decided that he wanted to make an early entry into the world.

On Tuesday 11/12 we went to our Doctor for a regular 32 week growth scan and we were told that I was having contractions, have a very short cervix and have polyhydraminos (excess fluid in the uterus). We were then told to go to the hospital. I had been having a mix of consistent and inconsistent contractions ranging from mild to medium intensity since we arrived in the hospital. I had been on consistent monitoring and medications to help with reducing the frequency/intensity of the contractions in order to keep Robin in the womb for longer.

After 4 days of monitoring, we were discharged and instructed to go home, rest/monitor and come back with any concerns.
On 11/19, I went to my regular OBGYN appointment and was informed that I had made cervical change (dilation) and would need to go to the hospital to be evaluated.
We were then informed that we would not be able to leave the hospital until Robin was born.

On Tuesday December 3rd Robin Sol was born at 35 weeks and 1 day. He is the most beauitful boy and our whole entire world.

He was admitted to the NICU due to low blood sugar and they are anticipating needing him to stay for monitoring. At this time, he is doing well but continues to need IV sugars and close supervision.

The reason we have created this Go Fund Me is that we are reaching out for support from our wonderful friends, family and others who feel like they would like to donate to support us during this time. We are facing upcoming significant medical bills due to both mine and Robin's prolonged hospital stays, support will regular bills (due to my amazing husband needing to take time off of work/me being off of work sooner than anticipated) and additional expenses that come up such as groceries, etc.

Many of our family/friends have reached out and asked if they can help in anyway/if we need anything and we feel that this would be the most beneficial support that we could recieve at this time.

We are so grateful for the incrediable amount of love, support and care we have recieved from everyone that we know. It truly takes a village and we have seen our village's love and support for us.

I would like to thank all of you, for any support that can be provided, emotionally, financially, thoughts and prayers. We feel so loved and are left speechless by all of you.

With lots of love; Christina, Daniel and Baby Robin Sol.

P.S. Our goal is just a rough estimate of what a few months of typical bills, upcoming significant medical bills and additional expenses that have come up during this time.
