Dear Community,
Our dear friend, Robin Kirkpatrick, unexpectedly lost her 12 year old daughter Daisy on Friday January 12th. She and her family are, of course, heartbroken beyond imagination by this unexpected disaster. As a private practice psychotherapist, Robin works as an independent contractor and doesn’t get paid sick or bereavement time or even eligibility for FMLA or disability.
We’ve started this GoFundMe campaign to help financially support Robin and her younger daughter Ali during this incredibly difficult time. It’s our great hope to raise enough money so that Robin doesn’t need to work full-time for at least a few months, and she can still tend to rent, costs related to Daisy’s passing, and everything else.
