My name is Diana, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of someone who has been an integral part of my family’s life for the past 15 years.

Roberto has worked as our ranch hand at our barn since 2009, caring not only for our horses but also for many aspects of our daily lives. Over the years, he has become far more than an employee, he has become family. His work ethic, kindness, reliability, and genuine care for others have left a lasting impact on our family and everyone who has had the privilege of knowing him.

Roberto is also an amazing father. He has two wonderful sons who are polite, respectful, and deeply caring young boys, a true reflection of the values he lives by every day. Roberto is always there for us, no matter how big or small the task, and he always does so with a smile on his face. He is one of the most selfless and hardworking people we have ever met.

Roberto was involved in a devastating horseback riding accident that occurred on January 6th. He suffered seven broken ribs, one of which severely punctured his lung. He continues to experience bleeding in his lung and remains hospitalized with a chest tube in place as doctors closely monitor his condition. His injuries are serious, and his recovery is expected to be long and uncertain. Because he did not have active health insurance at the time of the accident, the medical bills associated with his treatment and recovery are already beyond overwhelming.

In addition to the mounting hospital expenses, Roberto will face a significant period away from work as his body heals from these serious injuries. The funds raised will help ease the financial strain during his recovery so he can focus fully on healing.

Because Roberto is still hospitalized and receiving critical care, we do not yet know the total cost of his medical expenses. As we learn more, this fundraiser may be updated to reflect his ongoing needs, and I am committed to full transparency throughout the process.

Roberto has spent years selflessly caring for others without hesitation. This fundraiser is our way of supporting him during a time when he needs help the most.
