Dear Friends ~
As you may have heard, Robert passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2018 at 49 years old.
Four weeks ago, Robert came down with a fever and went in to the hospital to get checked. For three days, they ran a battery of tests to try to determine the cause. Results were inconclusive and his condition improved enough to be discharged although he never really recovered. Then on Saturday, November 3, his fever spiked.
Robert was again admitted, only this time the focus was on saving his life. For six days, they worked on him but were not successful. On Friday, at 12:44, all support was removed - he managed to breathe on his own for two and a half minutes before slipping away.
At this very sudden turn in Robert's life, he leaves behind his wife, April and his six year old son, Talon.
The world looks very different to April today than it did one week ago and, in addition to the costs associated with the upcoming memorial, the medical bills are starting to arrive. Robert was the primary income for this small family and we are not sure how these and their regular bills (not to mention any modest holiday expenses) will be paid.
Please contribute what you can; big or small, every little bit will help. Hopefully, through this site, we will be able to soften the financial blow that is following our friend's passing.
Thank you <3 <3 <3
