Supporting Richard Leebrick and Family
Donation protected
On Friday, March 4, Richard Leebrick learned his daughter, Autumn, had died suddenly. Autumn leaves behind two daughters, Richard's granddaughters, a 6th-grade and an 8th-grade student at our school.
Richard now bears the sole responsibility for the costs of Autumn's funeral. Overnight, he became his granddaughters' guardian and will support them financially and emotionally through this tragedy. In addition to his daughter's death, Richard cares for his aging parents; his father is currently in the hospital.
As a school community, we are shocked and saddened. We want to support Richard, our friend and colleague, and his granddaughters, also our students, the best we can by starting this fundraiser. Richard is working through incredible loss, the addition of his granddaughters to his household, and the stress of managing his parents' care. The rising cost of living, current inflation rates, and final stages of pandemic living mean the coming months will be financially challenging for Richard and his family.
Please consider donating as you're able. We are so very grateful for each and every donation that eases the burden for Richard and his family.
