Supporting Rey’s fight to beat COVID 19

Asking for financial assistance for one of the most giving, loving families I have ever met.

Today marks day 70 of Rey being in the hospital. His COVID 19 journey began on Monday morning, July 13th. The day started like any other. Rey simply mentioned that he felt a little congested. He was on Day 11 of quarantine when on July 23rd, his oxygen suddenly dropped and an ambulance was called. On July 27th, he went into distress and was intubated. It is a day the Rey family will never forget; it shook the family to the core.  Everything that was normal for the Rey family completely changed. Rey was on full life support for many weeks and it was touch and go many nights. He is truly a miracle!! God's plans are bigger than ours and He saved him. His road to recovery is long. He will require extensive rehab and is currently at Solara Hospital in McAllen.  The medical expenses are coming in as you can imagine. Family has also been informed that remodeling will need to take place in order to meet Rey's needs once he is released; their home will need to be handicapped accessible.  If you are not able to help the Rey family financially at this time, please help us by sharing this post and we ask for everyone's prayers for Rey's continued progress and Elva and boys ( Reyito and Gabriel) . May God continue to pour down his Mercy and Grace on such a beautiful family.
