Woof!
Thanks for stopping by — we’re Max and Bambi, two of the lucky ones. We’ve found safety with Roaming Dogs Rescue and our foster mums, Lucy and Cat. It’s a world away from where we came from.
We’ve known cruelty — tortured, starved, locked away, and left to feel unloved. But now, we’re finally safe and on the road to finding our second chance. It will take time — we can’t forget everything we’ve been through overnight — but we’re trying, and we’re in the best hands.
Roaming Dogs Rescue is a non-profit based in Lancashire, UK. Since 2020, their small, dedicated team has specialised in the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs, from both overseas and the UK. They’ve helped many dogs like us, especially those with behavioural challenges caused by trauma and those at risk of pts, giving us a safe place, time, and patient care to heal.
Unlike kennels, this rescue works through experienced foster families — where dogs like us can feel love, routine, and support. Rehabilitation takes months, and it’s only possible thanks to donations that cover:
Vet health checks, vaccinations, and microchips
Ongoing vet visits where needed
Our own kit (collar, lead, toys, training equipment)
Food, supplements, and medication
Specialist training and rehabilitation support
Every penny helps give dogs like us a chance to recover, trust again, and find forever homes.
Please support Roaming Dogs Rescue and be part of our journey from survival to second chances.
