My name is Brianna. I’m an early childhood educator and a devoted mom to two energetic, curious 3-year-old twins, and a caring 9-year-old stepson who has been a rock of support in our busy home. Our days are full of laughter, messes, learning, and love—both in my classroom and in our living room.

But right now, our world has been shaken.

I recently suffered a severe ACL tear that requires reconstructive surgery and a long, painful recovery. My doctors have made it clear: I need at least two months off work to heal properly. The hardest part? I don’t qualify for short-term disability, which means my income during this time disappears completely.

While I’m fortunate not to carry the full financial burden of our household, my income is essential to keeping us stable. Without it, we’re facing a very real struggle to stay on top of essentials—rent, groceries, childcare, and the mounting costs of recovery.
