My name is Jeremy Engle, Prentice Rios is a friend of mine. I’ve watched him give everything in a fight no one should have to fight while keeping a smile on his face.

Help us support Prentice’s Family. His wife Sandra and four children: Lyesa (23) Alexander (19), Preslee (14), Rylee (12) during this difficult time.

Some of you may know Prentice as a loan officer, a friend, family, co-worker or maybe former teammate of his. However you know him I’m sure he’s made an impact on your life like he has mine.

He attended Cal Poly on a baseball scholarship out of high school. He was scholar athlete of the year his senior of high school at selma high.

A background on his fight:

In 2018 was his first CT showing a cyst on his pancreas. Biopsy may/June 2019 he received a Cancer diagnosis. July 2019 the tail of his pancreas and spleen and lymph nodes were removed. Chemo 10 rounds Finished 12/19. March 21’ surgery, kidney and piece of liver removed. Then 12 rounds more intense chemo. January 2023 soft tissue mass left abdomen and 2 spots on liver. Removed mass February 2023 spots on liver zapped. Chemo 6 rounds IV oral after for 3 months. 12/2023 found in blood test. Started chemo on 1/5/24 last round on 1/19/24 due to low kidney function …..

He is now on dialysis and is taking parentetal vitamins given through a mediport….

Prentice has fought the hard fight. We want to help alleviate any stress or financial burden that he and his family will face during this time and show him the love that he’s shown all of us. He deserves to focus on his family during his final days on earth.

He is the bread winner in his family, we want him to feel at peace and have quality time just being with his loved ones.
