I never imagined I’d be creating a GoFundMe, as I’ve been fortunate enough to avoid family emergencies until now. My name is Paloma, and I’m the daughter of Peter H. My dad has made a lasting impact on so many lives through his years of teaching Guitar and Economics. He’s not just an incredible dad, but also an amazing uncle, brother, and grandfather—just ask anyone who knows him.

On Sunday, March 30, 2025, my dad suffered a heart attack. After spending three days in the hospital, he was home for only three hours before experiencing chest pains and needing to return. We’re still waiting on a diagnosis and discharge, but we’ve learned that once he is released, he will need full-time care. Unfortunately, the only people available to care for him are my sister and I, and providing round-the-clock care between the two of us is a huge challenge. With my dad unable to work for the foreseeable future and my sister and I unable to work the hours we used to, we’re going to be facing significant financial strain.
