Supporting Peggy One Head at a Time
For 16 years, Peggy has been the calming voice of reassurance on the other end of the line when people need help. Now she is in a place of need, but doesn't want to ask. While at work as a 911 Communications Officer, Peggy has a seizure. After testing, it was discovered that the cause of the seizure was a brain tumor. Surgery is scheduled for the very near future to remove a portion of it. Unfortunately, part of the tumor cannot be removed due to its location. It is going to be a long road to recovery. Hopefully we can help her the way she has helped so many of us over the years.
To boost funds, and show solidarity, at certain benchmarks groups of her close friends and co-workers, including communications, fire, EMS, and police personnel, will be shaving their heads and dying their hair silver to support brain tumor awareness and Peggy.
We will post on social media as marks have been met. Our goal is $5,000.
