Support Paula's fight against Leukemia
After a couple of weeks of battling flu-like symptoms (not COVID!), our mom was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and was med-flighted to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Her treatment will most likely include multiple rounds of 4-week inpatient chemotherapy. While the exact plan is still unclear and awaiting more test results, what we do know is that there will be a 6-month minimum course of action.
Due to COVID, our ability to see her is limited to just one person. Our oldest sister Amy, living close to Mayo, is able to be with her during this time.
Many have asked how they can help, as medical and transportation bills, as well as lost wages and just daily needs begin to add up. As our family has been through this before with our Dad, we unfortunately know the path all too well.
There will also be a benefit account setup at the Bank of Plentywood, 220 N Main St, Plentywood, MT 59254. Checks can be made to Paula Thuesen Benefit Account.
Please pray for our Mom!
Amy, Kim, and Kelly
