Some of you know I played lacrosse at Sonoma State 100 years ago when I met Shelley.  While I can still run as fast as I could back in 1992, I usually choose not to put my body through that sort of stress anymore. 

All jokes aside, it's a family, SSU Lacrosse. And they've surprised us by starting this GoFundMe. Thank you, Mike (Mr. A!).

If I felt awkward sharing personal details, I feel doubly so with something like this. But people keep telling me to get over it, so I'm going to try. ‍I'm learning. 

We have no idea about the expenses we are going to incur just yet. We will figure it out. 

SF is an expensive city but these funds will help us be nearby Paddy. They will be used either for our lodging and meals expenses here or his recovery care down the road. Any remainder will be donated to brain trauma charities. So thank you to all who have already donated and anyone who might do so later. We are feeling quite loved by so much generosity and support.

It says "beneficiary Sarah Trejo" and or those who don't know, Sarah is Patrick's stepmom. She is the point person on this but the funds will be for the family. All of us. Whether you know Paddy via Shelley, myself, or from skating or school, we are all one family and we appreciate your support.
