My name is Donna Hill, and I teach English at Willow Park School in Sheffield.

This year, my son (Luke) and I will be taking part in the Sheffield Half Marathon, and we are using this opportunity to raise funds for a cause close to my heart – giving our students the chance to experience the magic of live theatre.

Many of our students have never had the opportunity to attend a professional theatre performance. As an English teacher, I see first-hand how stories and performances can inspire creativity, build confidence, and deepen students’ understanding of literature. We would love to make theatre trips a reality for our students - to bring texts to life and to show them that the arts are for everyone.

All funds raised though this effort will go directly towards theatre tickets and related costs for our students. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help provide an unforgettable experience for our young people.
