In Honor of Mrs. D

Our mother, fondly known to many as Mrs. D, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia (AML) earlier this year.

As she continues to navigate this journey, she has been fortunate to receive exceptional care from Dr. Swamy and his world-class team in Goa, India.

True to who she is, her first instinct is not “why me,” but “how can I help?” She wanted to make sure others could access the same level of care she’s receiving.

Why This Matters

Across Goa, many people — from children to the elderly — face blood-related cancers without the financial means for treatment.

Families lose loved ones not because care doesn’t exist, but because it’s out of reach.

The Mahateja Blood Cancer Foundation, founded by Dr. Swamy, exists to change that. The Foundation provides financial assistance, access to treatment and diagnostics, emotional support, and public awareness to economically disadvantaged patients battling blood cancers.

Our Goal

To honor our mother’s wish, we are raising funds for the Mahateja Blood Cancer Foundation so that more patients can receive the treatment they deserve.

Every contribution — big or small — helps fund lifesaving care for those who cannot afford it.

About Mahateja (महातेजस्)

In Sanskrit, Mahateja means “of great splendour,” “full of fire,” or “of great majesty.” It describes those who embody radiance, courage, and healing energy — a fitting name for this cause.
