“Just the best guy!” is a common phrase we've been hearing from so many of you who have the pleasure of knowing our mate Adam (Bridgey) “funnest bugger I’ve ever met” is another. He is so many things to so many of us...loving fiancé to Belinda, doting Dad to Layla, Emmie and Alfie, adored Son, favourite work family member at Barwon, footy mate, fishing mate, camping mate, involved Buninyong community member and the list goes on...
One thing is for sure, this top bloke and his amazing family do not deserve to have their world turned upside down and be forced to face the fight of their lives!
Late in January Adam was diagnosed with Bowel cancer and received immediate emergency surgery to remove a tumour in his bowel. Whilst he recovered like an absolute champ from the surgery (true Bridgey style) further tests have revealed that his cancer is stage 4 with evidence of cancer cells in other areas of his body.
Adam is well aware of the fight ahead of him but is remaining determined and positive for the best possible outcome for him and his family.....to kick cancers ass and to make a full recovery!
So many people who know and love him have been busting to help Adam in anyway they can knowing that he is always the first one to be there for anyone who needs a helping hand.
Adam is reluctant to accept this help but our hope is that the money raised can assist to make the kids lives a little brighter as they go through this gruelling journey together.
It’s going to be a tough road ahead but if anyone can do this we know that the best guy in the world is deserving and strong enough to do it!
