There’s a strange place we find ourselves in right now…

grieving deeply, yet holding onto a peace that can only come from God.

We know where she is. We know she heard, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” And while our hearts ache here, we also rejoice knowing she is whole, restored, and in His presence.

So many of you have reached out asking how you can help. And the truth is, I haven’t really known what to say. Your prayers, your love, and your support have carried us in ways we’ll never forget.

Life has a way of continuing, and in some ways, doing normal things feels more natural than not right now. But we also feel a deep calling to honor her in a way that reflects her heart.

A few years ago, we took a trip to the Virgin Islands, and she kept saying how much she loved it… how she could see herself living there. It was a place where she felt peace, joy, and the beauty of God’s creation in a special way.

She always said she wanted her ashes scattered in the ocean.

So as a family, we want to honor that wish. We want to return to that place, stand together, and release her ashes into the water—trusting God in both our grief and our gratitude.
