Hi everyone!
After recently being given a very unexpected and devastating diagnosis of Metastatic Stage 4 Lung Cancer we have been inundated from family and friends with ways to help our beautiful Mother/Mother in law Joanne.
Joanne is a single mum who raised two children, Danielle and Anthony. With the limited funds she had Joanne supported them through their schooling and their chosen sports.
Many of you have probably met Joanne through her volunteering at fight shows, tournaments etc.
Even with Danielle training karate and Anthony a professional Muay Thai fighter this was a blow we just couldn't have trained for.
She spends her time now doting on her two grandchildren Jupiter and Luna with another on the way in just a few short weeks.
We are setting up a go fund me page to help Jo navigate this time and to be able to make life a little easier. We want to ensure she can enjoy the little things life has to offer with family and friends without having to worry about expenses.
As you can imagine, getting this diagnosis comes with many things and one of those we have encouraged is writing a pretty cool bucket list. They say love and laughter is the best medicine and that’s what we would like to give to her.
We are all so incredibly grateful for whatever you may be able to give and want to say a huge thankyou in advance for helping and supporting our family in the toughest fight we’ve been given.
