Supporting our friend Nicky

As a close friend and co-worker of Nicky's I am reaching out to anyone who can help. Nicky's fiancée has been battling a very aggressive cancer for over a year. In the last few months he has stopped improving. He has been given only a few months and is spending a lot of his time in the hospital due to the pain.

Her friends and I are hoping you may be able to help. Nicky has two beautiful children of her own and is very involved in all of her fiancée daughters lives. Going thru this emotional roller coaster has taken a toll on Nicky. She has been working full time, and holding back the tears, for a very long time. We would love to be able to give her the gift of spending time with her Fiancée for the last couple months.

Unfortunately bills don't pay for themselves and neither does the gas to travel back and forth. We would love to support her in the one way she won't ask for it, financially. Anything we raise for her will help with groceries, gas and the ability to leave her work for a period of time to be with him. She would also love to support his girls and spoil them in the same way their father has.

Please help in anyway you can.

Update: Thanks to everyone, Nicky is now able to be off work while she spends this time with Bryan. Unfortunately during this time her mother has also fallen very ill and has been put on hospice. Nicky has flown back to Colorado to be with her mom during this unexpected turn of events. She is in need of more financial assistance to get thru this time. Please, if their is any more pennies in your pocket you can spare, it would be incredibly appreciated. Her mom has been her rock, and now will be leaving this world shortly.
