Supporting our friend and colleague Sharon
Donation protected
EVERYONE...Sharon asked that I post this on her behalf....December 4th, 2019
Dear – friends and colleagues. Thank you all for your support, inspiration and generosity supporting me with this Go Fund Me. I am proud to work for a company like GPJ – where people matter and we create bonds and friendships with our co-workers that are real and last. And for those of you who do not know me directly, I’m touched that you have supported me during this time.
I wish you all a blessed Holiday Season with your family and friends. And look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
Much Love – Sharon Darcy
_________
As many of you are aware, our dear friend and colleague Sharon Darcy has been going through a very challenging time. Sharon recently returned to work after a leave of absence to take care of her husband. She had not been feeling well and being Sharon she just kept going - as her focus is always on taking care of others vs herself. Unfortunately, the day after returning to work she collapsed and test results revealed a mass in her brain. Sharon underwent immediate surgery to remove what turned out to be a tennis size mass. Although she came through the surgery without complications...she has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Sharon IS A WARRIOR and like everything else she will make a plan and execute it so she can get back on her feet. But some days we all need our burden to be lifted ever so slightly....
So many people of you have asked how you can help. What she needs to support her family and her beloved boys while she is recovering will vary day-to-day (meal delivery, babysitting, transportation, etc.) We have set up this gofundme so she can tap into the support as needed.
Please make any donation you choose and also leave notes of encouragement...because even a warrior needs those some times. Let's all show up for Sharon as she would show up for us!!!
