Hi everyone, my name is Michael.

A few days ago, I was involved in a car accident while sitting in standstill traffic on Garden Highway heading toward I-80. A driver came up behind me at a high rate of speed, tried to swerve, and slammed into the rear passenger side of my car. The impact totaled my vehicle.

I’ve since seen a doctor — thankfully, nothing life-threatening was found, but I’m extremely sore and dealing with neck, shoulder, and back pain. Because of this, I’ve been taken off work for the next few days to recover. With no vehicle and missing paychecks, things are financially tight very quickly.

I still owe money on the car that was totaled, I need transportation to get to follow-up appointments, and I need help covering basic bills while I’m recovering and waiting for insurance to process everything.
