Supporting Our Family Through a Devastating Time

Hi,

For those of you who don’t know me. My name is Catherine, and on the evening of June 5th our world came crashing down around us as we almost lost our 14 year old daughter. Due to the amazing care in the ICU at children’s hospital she is now medically cleared and safe at home.

However, our daughter is struggling in ways that no parent ever wants to see. As her parents, we are doing everything we can emotionally, physically, and financially, to support her through this difficult time. But it’s overwhelming.

We hate asking for help or money. As parents, we want to be able to handle everything ourselves to protect our children and fix what’s wrong without asking for anything in return. To keep our lives private and out of the public. But this is one of those moments when the crisis is bigger than pride, and we have to put that aside to give our daughter the care and support she desperately needs.

This isn’t just about her challenges; it’s about the impact on all of us. My husband and I need to be by her side, together, to help her heal and rebuild her foundation for life. That means time off work, medical appointments, therapy, and the countless unexpected expenses that come with a situation like this.

We’re asking for your help so we can be there fully for her, without worrying about how to cover bills or keep everything afloat. Every dollar will go toward her care and our ability to be present for her in the way she needs.
