Thank you so much to all of you who have reached out about the safety of my family in Jamaica! My husband’s mother still has a lot of family there, and as you’ve seen on the news, the devastation is catastrophic.

At first we didn’t know how to help exactly, but we’ve been in contact with family, so I’ve created a page to help fund the specific needs they’re experiencing. From food and water to roof repairs, we appreciate any and all support ❤️

There’s an estimated cost of $1,200

Food, Water & Gas: $600

Roof repair: $600

Most of the country is without running water and the local stores don’t have access to the necessary resources. Mark’s cousin is currently driving from his parish to Kingston, well over an hour each way, to get food for his family and those he’s able to help in the community. The cost of gas in Jamaica is between $4 and $5 a gallon, so this long trip is costly.

Additionally Mark’s uncle, who my family may remember from my wedding, (he was the older gentleman with the great dance moves and serious bag dance competition) he has had significant damage to his roof due to the storm and we’re hoping to get that repaired as soon as possible.
