On the day of the incident, everyone in the home was asleep or resting. During this time, an electrical fire started inside my one year old child’s bedroom while he was asleep. The fire began without warning while we were unaware and napping.

Emergency services were contacted as soon as the fire was discovered. Despite rescue efforts, my one year old child did not survive the fire. This tragic loss has caused profound grief and trauma for our family.
