My name is Katie McElhinney, wife of Bret McElhinney, and it is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of his mother, Laura McElhinney. Her loss has left an immeasurable void in the lives of her two sons, Bret and Colton McElhinney, her parents Patricia and Steve Frick, her sister Julie Becker, her grandchildren Jackson, Harper, Clara, and Matthew, and her beloved dog and cat.

Because her passing was sudden, our family is facing unanticipated funeral and memorial expenses, along with the costs associated with relocating and stabilizing her parents who lived with her. These financial burdens come while we are still trying to process our grief and support one another.

We are humbly asking for support to help cover funeral and memorial costs, moving expenses, and basic needs as we work to put the pieces back together. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease this burden and allow our family to focus on healing and honoring her memory.
