Supporting Our Dad's Final Journey
Donation protected
I honestly don’t know what to say. As many of you may know the world lost an AMAZING man on Sunday,June 2nd 2024, our dad. To know him was to love him. The last four months have been some of the most traumatizing days of our lives. One thing I can say with a smile on my face is that me and my sister along with our kids were by his side through every step along the way. 3 1/2 months into his hospital stay we started having staff tell us how they rarely see family be so supportive for so long, a couple even said that he was still alive because of us coming to see him every single day since his admission. My dad has been sick for a very long time, battling kidney disease and being on dialysis for 20 years, but man was he strong. To overcome some of the things that got thrown his way and to still have a smile on his face each day no matter what. His four grandchildren meant the world to him. He wanted nothing more than to see them all graduate.I remember all the times he would tell me he never thought he would see his first granddaughter be born. He fought and fought and I’m so thankful we got as much time as we did with him especially these last few months. He was loved by so many, if any friends or family would like to help my sister and me with the cost of his funeral service it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
