Supporting Our Community: The Gladners' Story
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Community,
It was very heartwarming to experience the generosity of our community members, especially in times of need. The Gladners are dear friends of ours, as well as many in our community. They have been an important part of all of our lives, and now it's our chance to show them support during this difficult period.
Hugh Gladner has been a dedicated coach and mentor in our community for the past three decades. His contributions to the Bellevue football program have been invaluable, and he has touched the lives of so many in our community.
It has been heartbreaking to learn of Hugh’s diagnosis of stage four ocular melanoma that has metastasized to his liver (we are hopefully talking years not months). Hugh is going through ten months of chemotherapy in the hope of extending his life and exploring alternative treatments or clinical trials that may assist in combating this fatal ailment. We stand in solidarity with him throughout his battle.
Hugh and Cindy are going to make some major life changes. The have decided to move to Arizona where there are more advanced treatments and trials (trials are not covered by insurance). As a community we want to provide them with some relief during this challenging time.
We urge you to support the Gladner family in any way possible. Your contributions will help them pay for necessary bills, medical expenses and hopefully give them some time to take care of each other. Let us come together to show our support and gratitude to the Gladners, who have given so much to all of us.
Thank you for taking the time to read this request, and we hope you had a joyous holiday season.
