Supporting our colleague Denise

Our colleague Denise has dedicated her life to caregiving since she was 18 years old, spending the last 25 years working with children with life-limiting diseases. She cherished this role, but the demands of night shifts became overwhelming, prompting her to transition to Hampshire County Council working in Social Care as a carer on the front line supporting Hampshire residents.

In 2016, Denise faced and beat breast cancer, receiving the all-clear in 2019. She managed a few health issues along the way, but it wasn't until this year that she received a diagnosis of stage 4 terminal cancer.

Denise's family is her joy—her husband Alan, daughters Jodie, 25, and Megan, 23, and three grandsons aged 1, 3, and 11. She devotes much of her time to creating lasting memories with them. Her three energetic dogs also demand her attention, but they are an inseparable part of her life.

Known for her immense heart, Denise is always considerate of others and for this reason we would like to show support for Denise by raising funds that will help her to have fun with her beloved family and enjoy memorable moments together.
