Support is something that is central to the culture at Packerland Brokerage Services. Our home office team is known for always being there for each other and for our representatives, whether that be by solving problems, working through challenges, or simply stepping in when help is needed.
Today, we are reaching out to you in that same spirit to support our team member and friend, Crissy Davis, during an incredibly difficult time.
As you likely already know, Crissy is our IT Systems Specialist, who has devoted her career at Packerland to supporting our team and our representatives with our computer issues, setting up our email and compliant texting tools, triaging cybersecurity issues as they arise, and much more. Crissy often goes well beyond the call of duty when it comes to supporting others. If you have gotten to know Crissy, her family, or her story, you know that supporting others is embedded deep in her DNA.
Tragically, Crissy’s husband, Ben Davis, passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2026, at the age of 44 after spending 10 days in the ICU at Bellin Hospital, where he had been since Christmas Day.
Many of our representatives will likely remember Ben from our annual ASCEND Conference, our post-conference poker games, or other Packerland events. Ben was known for his big heart, infectious laughter, and willingness to support anyone in need. He loved the outdoors—hunting, fishing, and campfires—and cherished time with family, friends, and their puppy Bella. Ben was also a loving husband to Crissy, who he married in 2014.
As Crissy grieves this sudden loss, she is also facing significant medical bills related to Ben’s hospitalization and care, and we have set up this GoFundMe page to assist with medical expenses related to Ben’s hospitalization. We’re reaching out to our Packerland family and friends to rally around Crissy, just as she has always been here to support each of us.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Crissy and her family in your thoughts.
Thank you for supporting someone who spends each day at work supporting all of us. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can express.
